Frequently asked questions.

Do you make all your hats?

Yes. I source all my materials, design, block the hats and sew on the trims and sweatbands. Every hat is handmade, every detail matters and is created with much attention.

I just ordered a hat. How long does it take to make it and to receive it?

If you ordered a hat that’s in stock, you will probably receive it within a week (depending on your location).

If the size you ordered is not in stock, it can take up to three weeks to make it.  Once finished, the shipment timing will depend on the location to which the hat is being sent.

If the hat is needed earlier, please let me know and I will do my best to get it to you sooner!

Do you take returns?

Happily, most of my clients are very satisfied with their hats!  That said, issues can arise, so I recommend emailing me as soon as you can and we can discuss accordingly.

There are no refunds, but there is possibility for an exchange.  The hat must be unworn and the return request must be received within 30 days after your purchase.

A hat found to be worn, stained, washed, damaged or otherwise altered will not be accepted for exchange.

I’m not sure of my head size.  Can you advise on how to best measure my head?

Getting your right head size is very important, so please take time to get the correct measurement.

You can check out the size chart for a video explaining how to take this measurement.

You are also welcome to make an appointment to come to my studio so I can do the measurement for you on site.

I bought a felt hat.  How do I care for it?

Purchase a simple shoe shine brush and brush it once in a while (counterclockwise).

If your hat is dusty you can also use a lint roller.  Please place your hat upside down when you store it to best preserve the shape.

How do I care for my straw hat?

Always place your hat upside down when not on your head or in a hatbox.

Do not leave your hat in an area that is exposed to heat and humidity.  This will prevent shrinkage and distortion of shape and color.
